LOROS Hospice is a Leicester-based charity that provides specialist, free end-of-life care and support to terminally ill patients, their families, and carers in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. It offers a wide range of services, including inpatient care, community support, and bereavement services, with a focus on a holistic, multidisciplinary approach that addresses physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs. The charity relies on donations and fundraising to operate, with a significant portion of its budget spent on patient care. 

Pickleball box leagues in Leicestershire

Rise Up Racket Sports are running the first Pickleball box leagues in Leicestershire for all ages and abilities. We have mens doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles leagues which will begin in January 2026.

Entry deadline is 14th December 2025.

Box league runs between Sunday 4th January 2026 and ends on Sunday 5th April 2026. The next league will start soon after.

This is a great chance to play against new players and put what you are practicing into the real game in a relaxed environment.
